Job Title: HR Officer
Location: County Hall, Hertford (‘Work Anywhere’ profile), but with regular working at Mundells, Welwyn Garden City.
Salary Range: £31,895 with the opportunity to progress to a maximum of £35,336 per annum
Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week
We are looking to appoint a proactive and solution focused HR Officer to work closely with HR colleagues from across the HR Service and within the traded and commercial businesses we support, contributing to the development of a partnership approach and the delivery of their Strategic Workforce Plans. We will be embracing the new ways of working but the role will involve travel across Hertfordshire and its borders to support the businesses and so access to own transport is essential.
You will already have an HR background with proven experience of providing clear advice and coaching to managers on a range of HR matters, ideally you will have some experience of organizational change as well as TUPE transfers. An understanding of employment law is essential as in the ability to communicate with and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders.
You will have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize your workload ensuring risks are assessed and a range of options and solutions are identified. A good eye for detail is essential as is good written and spoken English and IT skills. You will be CIPD qualified or working towards.
