Science Technician

Start Date: Required asap

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 3 days per week, 6.5 hrs per day, including one 30-minute unpaid break - Days and times negotiable. 39 weeks per year, term time plus inset days

Salary: Grade APTC3, Spinal Points 5.0 & 6.0

Full-time salary: £22,575 pa

Pro-rata Salary: £9,698 per annum, inclusive of 5.8 week’s paid holiday


We are looking to appointment a Science Technician to join our team.  If you are flexible, self-motivated and a real team player and looking for a role that is busy, varied and interesting, we would like to hear from you.

Our Technicians play a key role in the smooth running of the department. Ideally the post holder will have an academic qualification within Science, or have experience in a similar role.  The ability to make basic science equipment or repair electrical components would be an advantage but not essential as full training can be provided.
