About the role

Challenging economic times and a series of welfare reforms have made it harder than ever to collect the income needed to deliver services. As an Income Adviser with Brighton & Hove City Council you will join a busy, high profile income collection team.  As well as providing organisational support to the team, you will work directly with tenants to identify  vulnerabilities and signpost them to appropriate services. Good listening skills and a caring, practical approach to people in financial difficulty are essential.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
