We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Visiting Officers to join the Dartford and Sevenoaks Revenues & Benefits shared service, which is based in Sevenoaks.
The main duties are:
- To undertake visits providing full reports for each visit, using mobile phones to capture evidence and completing application forms as required
- To undertake visits for the Revenues & Benefits Team to verify occupations/vacations and to gather evidence for entitlement to reliefs/discounts and benefits
- To undertake regular trawl visits of Council Tax discounted properties and void Business Rate properties
- To monitor construction of new domestic and commercial developments, recording progress and issuing completion notices at the appropriate time
The successful candidate will preferably have experience of working in a Revenues & Benefits environment or a similar customer-facing environment.
A full UK driving licence is essential for these posts.
