We are currently seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual excited by the challenge of a role within our Case Management (Corporate Services) team. Working in a multi-skilled team focused on delivering core services, this is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of the council, providing excellent customer service to a whole range of stakeholders.

The primary function of the post holder will be to administer the billing of various types of sundry debts, raising invoices and other notices to ensure accurate and prompt billing. The role includes recovery of Council Tax debts, housing benefit overpayments, sundry debts and NNDR debts as required, demonstrating a clear understanding of debt management, collection and recovery processes.

You will need to have some experience of working in a customer focused administrative support role and the demonstrable ability to meet service performance targets. You will also need to be able to adapt to a constantly changing environment, which can be influenced by economic stability as well as legislative changes. Specific experience in corporate debts would be advantageous, but if you’re a fast learner with excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team then we want to hear from you!
