Teaching Assistant - Whitley Parking Primary and Nursery School

31.25 hours per week term time only

Are you a Teaching Assistant who is looking for new opportunities? Whitley Park Primary and Nursery School may be exactly what you’re looking for!

As a school we are completely dedicated to providing a holistic approach to learning with a team of highly motivated and caring education professionals who want nothing but the best for each and every child. OFSTED (April 2018) reported that the ‘school is a very caring and inclusive community.

Leaders rightly pride themselves on ensuring that pupils are well supported and ready to learn. All staff, including members of the therapeutic team, work hard to support pupils’ personal development’. We employ our own Specialist Teaching Assistants for high quality interventions and there may be opportunities to move to this role within school.

Our children know exactly what they are looking for in a Teaching Assistant:

“Someone who listens and includes us all”

“Someone who doesn’t mind mistakes because that’s how we learn”

“Someone who tells us what we need to do next in order to improve”

“Someone who makes learning fun”

At Whitley Park we don’t just teach, we enable our children to learn the skills to become independent lifelong learners, enabling them to flourish and enjoy success in a world full of opportunities.

If you are a Teaching Assistant who is interested in joining a school that

  • will provide you with an enthusiastic team of hardworking people who will support you
  • takes its values of Aspiration, Belief and Achievement seriously
  • can give you real opportunities to grow professionally

Then we would love to hear from you.

We can provide you with a strong team of enthusiastic, dedicated colleagues who will support you to the fullest, and opportunities to grow professionally.

“There have been many changes at Whitley Park. Leaders make decisions that benefit pupils but are mindful of staff well-being too. As one member of staff said, ‘Our headteacher really looks after his staff.” (Ofsted, December 2021).
