Hove Park School are excited to offer this fantastic opportunity for a cover manager to join a dedicated cover team consisting of five members of staff across our two campuses located in Hove.

About the role

You will be leading our amazing cover team responsible for ensuring that teacher absences are covered without disruption to pupils. Furthermore, you will help us ensure that our school provides a safe, welcoming and purposeful environment for students, staff and visitors.

The role is vital to the smooth running of the school. The primary focus of the role is to assess the cover requirements on a daily basis through either planned absence or by on the day communications by teachers and allocating team members and / or agency staff as appropriate to ensure that all lessons are covered by appropriate staff. There will be an expectation that you will also cover lessons as and when appropriate. The role reports to the member of senior leadership with responsibility for cover.
