Headteacher - St Michael's Primary School

Required for January 2023

Are you an aspiring leader looking for a new challenge in a sought after school in the heart of the Tilehurst community, Reading?

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a ‘Good’ school that is primed to climb to even greater heights.

Governors would welcome applications from experienced deputies, assistant heads or serving heads who will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, management and communication skills with the ability to identify obstacles and over come them with the rigor needed to drive school improvement.

St. Michael’s is a high-achieving, two form entry community school with a new £4.5m purpose built teaching space set in large grounds that includes a sports field and outdoor learning spaces.

Staff and governors have very strong aspirations for all our children, who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We want and expect our children to achieve high standards and apply our school vision of “together we achieve” every day.

You will be strongly supported and encouraged along the way and will also benefit from the support of the local authority professionals.

If you are a visionary and strategic leader, who can embrace and build upon our high standard of a caring and inclusive community school then please get in touch.
