We undertake assessments to determine the level of support and care a person requires. Under the discharge to assess model we offer assessment, rehabilitation, reablement and treatment in the community.

We seek the best talent from the widest pool of people as diversity and inclusion is the key to our success. Reading Borough Council is a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to the recruitment and continued employment of people with disabilities.

A variety of shifts are available including mornings beginning at 7.00am, evenings finishing at 10.00pm and weekends.  We work on a 14-day shift pattern basis, but flexibility around working hours maybe required at times.  Our rota pattern will include working at weekends and bank holidays.

We are based at Charles Clore Court, 139 Appleford Road, Reading in the heart of Southcote Reading, with excellent transport routes.
