Experience the extraordinary with a move to Folkestone and Hythe District Council (F&HDC)!
We are looking for an experienced, housing management professional, that understands the complex needs of social housing residents, especially the health and wellbeing of vulnerable older tenants, and is committed to meeting those needs by engaging and communicating effectively with residents.
The postholder will lead a small Independent Living (Sheltered Housing) team along with a dedicated Tenant Liaison Specialist, in promoting tenant engagement as an integral part of shaping service delivery, continuously improving performance, and with Health & Safety and tenant wellbeing at the forefront of the service.
Our mission is to create a world-class Housing landlord service – with the tenant at the heart of everything we do.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the design and delivery of our housing service for the benefit of our residents. The social housing sector is changing and the role of the tenants’ voice, customer insight and consultation has never been more important than now. We will expect you to be up to date with changes to relevant policy, regulation and legislation and provide that expert advice across the Housing team and to work in close collaboration with the wider Council teams.
