Housing is a key priority for us and we focus on providing the best service we possibly can.
You’ll be working in the heart of the community by providing front line support to our customers as well as being responsible for the daily running of the Council’s Housing register.
You’ll assess applications and carry out the shortlisting for the majority of vacancies within the district, so a knowledge of Housing Allocations is essential.
You’ll also be liaising with applicants to update them on their applications and collating information on their housing situation, so you’ll know that communication is a key focus of the role as is a methodical approach to your work.
You’ll also have experience of working with statutory, non-statutory and voluntary agencies and a sound knowledge of data protection.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
