Site Manager

The Governors of Guilden Sutton Church of England Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and trustworthy person to undertake the demanding, but varied role, of Site Manager.  At Guilden Sutton, we pride ourselves on a love of learning in a happy and safe environment. Our school is part of the community and our children, parents and staff are proud to come here and represent us. 

The successful candidate must be flexible, possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to organise a variety of tasks by prioritising and taking initiative. The post involves cleaning and the maintenance of the school grounds and building, undertaking minor repairs and liaising with external maintenance contractors to ensure standards are maintained to the highest whilst ensuring site security and health and safety systems across the school. Training will be provided for the successful candidate, but experience in a similar role is desirable.  

The working day will be split, and would run from 7.15am to 9.15am, then 2.30pm to 6.30pm.  There is also the requirement to work occasional evenings and additional hours to support school life.
