More about the role:

In Care and Support we work with adults with learning difficulties, and we aim to give every customer excellent care and deliver services in a person-centred way. By supporting the customers, we work with, to learn new skills and through engaging in a range of opportunities in their own home, at day centre and in the wider community we strive to make Central Bedfordshire a great place to live for all. As an Administrator, you will provide much needed business and administrative support to the Silsoe Horticultural Centre and Biggleswade Adult Centre staff teams. As part of the role there will be a requirement to work at both sites.

You will be required to work closely with the Unit Supervisor and senior staff team to provide comprehensive support, in an important and varied role. Day to day you will organise and provide administrative support, attend meetings, carry out financial administration, accurately and timely processing and monitoring of a wide range of data, providing support in undertaking ad-hoc projects and delivering administrative programme support.

You will have relevant qualifications; you will be working as part of an established team and will need a positive and flexible attitude towards change as the team develops.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a team player with a positive and flexible approach and have a skill for dealing with a wide range of people. You will be a confident and resourceful worker and experienced in business support with strong self-organisation skills enabling you to prioritise your workload. You will have experience in a busy, customer-facing role including delivering administration in an office environment and have a good standard of English, maths, and IT skills.
