Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and 9.30am to 6pm shift patterns with some call out required including weekends (additional payment of £227.00 per week whilst on call, which is payable monthly)

We are looking for people who want to use their skills and expertise to have a positive impact on the lives of residents. We are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Joiner to join our Housing Maintenance and Asset Management team. You will undertake skilled maintenance operations and support other trade staff in the effective completion of repairs, maintenance and other building operations to properties and other buildings managed by Newark and Sherwood District Council.

Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience of carpentry in domestic and / or commercial properties. You will also hold a Level 2 or above qualification in carpentry or joinery. 

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence is essential.
