The Barnet Group is currently seeking to recruit Support Workers with knowledge of people with profound and multiple disabilities. The roles will report into the management team and will work closely with colleagues.
Rosa Morison is a specialist service for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities and other complex needs (PMLD). We are committed to the principles of Valuing People Now, promoting independence, involvement, inclusion, and opportunities in a person-centred way.
We work very closely with colleagues from the Multi-Disciplinary Team within Barnet including Physio, Speech and Language and Occupational Therapists which enables us to support people with their general health and wellbeing.
We are seeking to recruit full-time Support Workers, who need to be innovative, energetic, and able to work alongside other team members to assist in the development of the service.
It is essential that the individual has experience and able to take on keyworking roles and responsibilities in addition to contributing to the smooth running of the service.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of working with people with PMLD however this is not essential, the individual must have excellent communication and IT skills.
Part of the role will include supporting individuals in the Hydrotherapy Pool with guidance and support from our trained Hydrotherapy Coordinator therefore, you will need to be able to go in the Hydrotherapy Pool.
Due to service user’s physical needs, you will need to be physically fit to carry out this role.
