Mental Health Enabling Independence Services: Enabling Independence Worker Roles
There are exciting opportunities for a range of Enabling Independence Worker roles within Mental Health Recovery due to the development of new services.
We are currently looking to recruit team workers to be a part of our Mental Health Enabling Independence offer; this is a team that seeks to support people struggling with their mental health and/or substance misuse needs. We adopt a strengths based approach, with the person at the centre, to focus on supporting people to become more independent.
You will need to have a good understanding of mental health and/or substance misuse needs and demonstrate experience of working within this area.
It is also essential that you have a valid driving licence and use of a vehicle for the performance of the role. You will benefit from a wide variety of training and development opportunities, regular supervision, essential business mileage, flexible benefit options and the support of a friendly team; passionate about the work they undertake.
There are currently Enabling Independence Team Worker positions available based at the following locations:
- Millmead House, Millmead, Guildford, GU2 4BB (Permanent positions)
- Quadrant Court, 35 Guildford Road, Woking, GU22 7QQ (Permanent and 18-month fixed-term contracts available)

These are full time positions, although we welcome applications from people who may wish to apply for part-time hours. We are offering a combination of fixed term contracts and permanent roles.
