Project Manager – CPD

Required for January 2023

The North East London Teaching School Hub has been designated as one of the 87 new national Teaching School Hubs for Waltham Forest, Haringey and Redbridge, comprising 239 schools.   We are now seeking to appoint a Project Manager in charge of CPD to assist in establishing an outstanding provision which will transform support and training for teachers throughout our region.  Our ambition is to ensure that every child has a great teacher who inspires and unlocks their potential.

We are looking for a Project Manager who is an experienced strategic leader, with a passion to impact children’s lives and a detailed understanding of the educational landscape.  You will be an excellent communicator, skilled in building relationships and networks, with the ability to deal with complex challenges and to assist in ensuring that the Hub meets its KPIs.

Working with the Hub Director and the Lead Provider, UCL/IOE, you will undertake the project management, development and promotion of CPD opportunities across the Hub. You will be required to work collaboratively to develop high quality education and leadership across the three boroughs.

You will be seconded to work for the Teaching School Hub for two days per week, for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, with reimbursement being paid to your school.  You will be required to work on-site at Walthamstow School for Girls for at least one day a week.

If you are committed to our ethos of equality and diversity, ensuring the best quality outcomes for every student in North East London, then this is the role for you.
