Admin Assistant

We are looking for an experienced admin assistant to join our current admin team as we are expanding over two sites at this outstanding school. The successful candidate will work mainly on our Waters Road site working front of house, under the direction of the School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team. 

We are looking for someone who is a good team player with very good IT and communication skills ideally with experience in a similar role although not essential.

Greenvale School is a Lewisham community special school for children and young people between the ages of 11 and 19 who have severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties (SLD & PMLD).  Many pupils have additional diagnosis including autism, physical disabilities and medical needs. The school has two beautiful, purpose-built teaching and learning environments in Waters Road in Catford and Mayow Road in Forest Hill. This role is predominantly to work on the Waters Road  site but on occasions you could be working on the Waters Road site.

35 hours, five days per week, Monday to Friday term time only, 39 weeks.

Pay rate: LBL Grades Scale 3 points 5-6 £23,838 - £24,270 pro rata term time only.  Approximate annual starting salary of £20,505  

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. 

An overseas check will be required if you have lived or worked abroad for more than three months since you were 18.  You will need to apply to the country where you lived for a police check and pay for any costs incurred.  A prohibition check will also be completed.
