Our Support team is a key element in the planning application process and making a difference to our residents.
You’ll mainly focus on applications that are referred to the Development Control Committee or those liable to pay the Community Infrastructure Levy. If you’ve worked in a Planning environment, then you’ll know how important attention to detail is when handling all planning applications and you’ll be comfortable working to tight deadlines.
You’ll display your confidence in dealing with a wide range of data when dealing with a variety of complex planning queries. Your experience with customers will also allow you to communicate effectively showing empathy and diplomacy towards everyone.
Working in a small team of 5 you’ll benefit from the experiences of your colleagues and develop your planning knowledge further to drive your planning career forward.
This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
