The starting salary for this role is £46,634 per annum for working 36 hours per week.

The successful applicant will be part of the PHIIT which provides intelligence to inform Public Health and system partners in addressing local health needs and reducing health inequalities, regularly collaborating with a wide variety of analytic partners to deliver joint intelligence.

About the role:
The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is a process by which Local Authorities and Integrated Care Boards assess the current and future health, care and wellbeing needs of the local community to inform local decision making.
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join our Public Health Intelligence and Insights Team (PHIIT) to guide and coordinate our programme of JSNA across Surrey. Duties in your role will include:
- Project managing the production and publication of JSNA chapters
- Supporting the Governance of the JSNA programme
- Leading on the dissemination of learning from the JSNA programme in order to inform the Surrey Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
Your work will focus on health and wellbeing issues, specific geographical areas and population groups.
The successful applicant would be someone who has project management experience and expertise, looking to influence health and wellbeing, and health inequalities, in Surrey. You will also be interested in the wider determinants of health and how these influence health outcomes.
Qualified to degree level (or able to demonstrate equivalent qualification through experience), you must also have relevant experience of building partnerships and working collaboratively with others.
You will be comfortable working with and engaging a range of partners including the NHS, Local Authorities, the Community and Voluntary Sector as well as local surrey residents.
Excited by data and forming key relationships with intelligence and statistics experts within the PHIIT, you will be able to present the highest possible quality evidence base.
You will be a good communicator with well-developed planning and problem-solving skills, highly organised and flexible.
