HOUSING MAINTENANCE AND ASSET MANAGEMENT
37 hours per week
Craft Grade from £25,216 to £26,846 plus a 10% market supplement per annum
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and 9.30am to 6pm shift patterns with some call out required including weekends (additional payment of £227.00 per week whilst on call, which is payable monthly)

We are looking for people who want to use their skills and expertise to have a positive impact on the lives of residents. We are currently recruiting for two full-time, permanent Electricians to join our Housing Maintenance and Asset Management team. You will undertake skilled maintenance operations and support other trade staff in the effective completion of repairs, maintenance and other building operations to properties and other buildings managed by Newark and Sherwood District Council.
Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience of electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and testing in domestic and commercial properties. You will also hold City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2: Certificate in Electrical Installation or equivalent and City & Guilds 2382: Certificate in the requirement for Electrical Installation BS7671: July 2008.
Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence is essential.
