It’s an exciting time to join Lincolnshire County Council (LCC). We have embarked on a new way of working, transforming the Transport Services team in our Place Directorate.
Transport Services has responsibility for the operational delivery of transport solutions for more than 20,000 passengers daily: from educational travel and social care passengers to those using the Council’s demand responsive CallConnect service. With an annual budget in excess of £50M, the service also manages the county’s local bus and community transport network, alongside Sustainable Travel development. All elements of the service are transforming, creating an innovative, business-focused and high performing service., Working continuously to improve our services and how they are delivered, working in collaboration with others, using latest technology and innovation to spark growth, encourage investment and develop transport options to ensure that Lincolnshire continues to be a fantastic place to work, visit, live and invest.
You will be committed to improving the quality of the Transport Services Group now and in the future, managing budgets and forward planning in line with key drivers aligning strategically and operationally within the Council’s Policy Framework including the Corporate Plan, health & safety and safeguarding requirements.
