Assistant Headteacher Bluebell Park School
Leadership Pay Scale: 12-16. To commence April 2023 (Spring Term)
Full time, permanent post.
Are you someone who has a passion for providing the best possible learning experiences for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties? Can you be the one who joins an established and dedicated team in the pursuit of excellence for our pupils and families?
At Bluebell Park School we want someone to join us who is relentless in striving for excellence, determined in achieving high quality provision for our pupils and hold the highest standards for staff and pupils alike. You will have the vision, resilience and energy to help our pupils become as independent as they can be through continually asking for the best from all involved in their school life.
This role would be ideal for an experienced senior leader who wishes to further enhance their practice or for someone who is stepping up to a senior leadership post for the first time. You will benefit from support and excellent career opportunities in a school with a history of supporting staff to improve and progress. We are interested in what you can bring to our school to benefit our pupils and families.
Bluebell Park is a 220 place school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties including profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism and SLD. We have recently expanded to provide satellite provision and you will be joining a school which is forward thinking, creative and solution focused.
As an already outstanding teacher, you will be able to ensure a culture of continual reflection and challenge promotes the highest standards of teaching and learning within the school. You will oversee a number of classes and provide line management for identified staff. You will work closely within the senior leadership team to deliver the vision and aims of the school. There will be a teaching commitment to be decided in connection with the Headteacher and you will bring a hands-on, proactive approach to the operational running of the school of which you will be an integral part. You will play a key role in contributing to the teaching and learning throughout the school and curriculum development and review.
