Job Title: Admin Support Officer
Location: Tanners Wood Close, Abbots Langley
Starting Salary: £21,189 progress to a maximum of £22,369 (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 32 per week

Tanners Wood Close are looking for an Admin Support Officer who can work in a challenging office based in a Supported Living Service where adults with care and support needs live. You will be supporting the Senior Support Officer to manage the office and liaise with people we support and their support team.
The role includes the responsibility of managing the rota and ensuring there is enough staff to maintain a safe environment. You will manage the day-to-day tasks associated with any administrative role including answering the phones, passing messages, taking minutes, letter writing, compiling data and supporting the management team.
This is a multi-skilled role where your administrative skills and social skills must both be excellent. On a typical day you will check and cover the rota where sickness and incidents have affected safe staffing, liaising directly with the staff team and agencies. You will compile data requested and update documents on shared drives. There may be professional meetings where minutes need to be taken and typed up quickly. The management team may need support with correspondence, arranging diaries and the office phones will need answering and redirecting. You will converse with the people living at the service and be a regular part of their day.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Use of Microsoft Windows including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Minute taking
- Experience with managing finances
- Be flexible and reliable
- Able to work as part of a large team and also work on your own initiative
