Ronald Openshaw Nursery Education Centre is a large and vibrant nursery school which is based in Stratford on the edge of the Olympic Park.  We are a 60 FTE place setting and are also resourced for children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

We are looking to recruit a candidate to the post of Deputy Head Teacher for April 2023 to support the Head teacher through times of great change for the nursery school

The successful candidate should:

• Be an outstanding early years teacher with high expectations and committed to raising attainment for all children and lead the implementation of the revised EYFS curriculum through a play based approach which utilises ‘Moment to Moment’ planning
• Be familiar with appropriate assessment tools which capture pupil progress effectively
• Be committed to leading SEND inclusion
• Be able to lead the middle management team, of teachers and senior support staff, to develop the strategic direction and development of the school.
