About the post:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to join our team, initially in the Early Years. The vacancy presents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidates to work in a forward-thinking, supportive and inclusive school. The role will involve supporting learning and teaching in the classroom and across the year group; preparing and organising resources and activities; and providing meaningful and positive play at lunchtimes.
The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills and a calm approach to working with children and with other adults. We are looking for someone who is cheerful, lively, reliable, flexible and hard working. Previous experience of working in the Early Years would be highly desirable.
We are looking for someone who:
- has appropriate experience in a primary school setting, particularly in the Early Years Foundation Stage;
- has an unwavering belief in supporting children to achieve their best;
- enjoys sharing ideas and working collaboratively as part of an effective team;
- actively works in partnership with others.
