The governors of Kelsall Primary and Nursery School are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified specialist to provide 1:1 support for a child in reception class with complex developmental needs. Our successful candidate will need to experience of working with children with speech and language needs and be able to work closely with the class teacher to help to support the needs of the child.

SEN TA’s may also need to help regular classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons to allow for greater inclusion and understanding from both sides. The successful candidate will also work with other support staff members, SEN coordinators and school senior leadership to carry out small group and one-to-one sessions of support outside of class. In these meetings SEN TA’s will provide academic intervention and support with the aim to raise the SEN student’s attainment and ensure they achieve their potential.
