Financial Assessment Officer
An opportunity has arisen within the Client Support team for the above post to undertake Adult Social Care Financial Assessments. The role includes providing welfare advice to maximise income for the individual and potential income recovery to the Council.
The successful applicant will have experience of financial assessments and administration.
We are looking for applicants who have excellent numeracy and literacy skills. You must have experience of delivering a customer focused service and be able to communicate with vulnerable adults, as well as building partnerships with internal and external agencies. An ability to manage and prioritise your own workload is essential as is experience in using Microsoft Office products.
The office base for this post is in Bootle, however, much of the working week will be spent working from home or visiting clients in their homes throughout the Sefton borough. Therefore we are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, can demonstrate a flexible attitude and an ability to work from their own initiative.
