Teaching Assistant Level x 2 positions

PAY BAND D / SCP 5 - 6

£21,575 - £21,968 pro rata per annum plus SEN Allowance

Actual salary £14,578 - £14,844 plus SEN Allowance of £910

To commence immediately or as soon as possible

  

1 x fixed term SEND Support TA Level 2 working within EYFS 27.5 hours per week

1 x fixed term TA Level 2 in DSP 27.5 hours per week.

 

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and skilful Teaching Assistants for Northwood Community Primary School. See above for fixed term contracts.

Northwood Community Primary School is a great place to work. The role will include working with children to support them in the following ways:

  • To develop the child’s language and communication skills
  • To develop the child’s early learning skills
  • To develop the child’s fine and gross motor skills to continue to improve their self-care skills, enabling them to function independently
  • To assist the child when eating lunch in our hall during lunchtime.

 You must:

  • Be caring, patient and prepared for physical activities and willing to train as a first aider
  • Be qualified to NQT Level 2 or above for Teaching Assistants or have appropriate experience.
  • Be committed to high expectations of pupils in terms of learning and behaviour
  • Be able to use ICT to support learning
