Estates Manager

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is seeking an Estates Manager to deliver professional advice and recommendations to Senior Management and members for the effective management of the property asset portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a senior property or estates management role, working across a complex property portfolio at a comparable organisation. A highly commercial approach teamed with an understanding of the overall ambitions of the organisation and strong stakeholder engagement skills are vital to success in the role.

The Estates Manager is responsible for the day-to-day and strategic asset management set out in the Asset Management Plan, maximising the operational and financial returns of the property asset portfolio. You will provide guidance and support for Estates team, lead and direct contractors and consultants on projects and asset rationalisation.

With a full working knowledge of Landlord and Tenant and property legislation and associated principles of common law you will provide property advice to the Tunbridge Wells Property Holdings Company.
