Do you have what it takes to help spearhead the delivery of our newly revamped Digital service?
We have an exciting opportunity to lead on digital accessibility and inclusion at the Council.
Reporting to the Technology adoption manager, the Accessibility lead will increase our understanding of the digital accessibility and inclusion issues that our users face, and the challenges that H&F have in responding to these user needs internally and externally. They will also lead on proposing feasible ways to address these issues.
You understand the challenges faced by users, you are their advocate in discussions with H&F services that employ digital and are passionate about accessibility and inclusion. Using your experience and knowledge in digital accessibility and inclusion to help embed inclusive Design Principles in the design and delivery of council digital services and solutions and, importantly, function as Digital services’ Accessibility Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relevant forums such as our Technical Design Authority. You will also ensure that H&F will successfully meet its legal obligations and contribute to the development of the H&F approach to enable vulnerable and potentially excluded users to access our digital services. Together, you will help us deliver the council's priorities through the innovative provision of digital and information services. Apply now for your chance to collaborate with us in this role.
Our mission is to be the best council. To do this we need the best people to help build our vision.
