Are you an exceptional multimedia content producer looking for a chance to put your skills to use and make a difference? If you’re expert in creating content including video, infographics, imagery, audio and copy, join our brand communications team and be part of transforming how we communicate with our key audiences. As Content Producer, you will report directly to the Head of Brand & Design within the Marketing, Resident Engagement and Participation, and Policy Directorate to develop high quality, high impact digital content that delivers a step change in awareness, engagement and understanding amongst target audiences. This includes content for the Council’s website, email newsletters, online events, and social media (audio, copy, video, imagery, infographics) as well as to support internal communications activity (Council intranet, employee emails and events).

You will be responsible for ensuring that all digital content is produced to highest standards of creativity and accessibility by applying the Newham brand guidelines and best industry practice in digital design. This will include evaluating the impact of content produced to understand reach and impact with target audiences, then working with the Head of Brand & Design to ensure content is accessible according to guidelines.

To be successful in this role you must have:

A Degree or professional marketing qualification

Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing

Knowledge of design software

Knowledge of video and audio editing for digital publishing

Knowledge of video production

Knowledge of photo editing

Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and digital media outlets

Experience of using design software

Experience of using web editing and publishing platforms

Experience in producing and publishing for a range of social media platforms
