If you have an understanding of IT Service Delivery, are a great communicator and can build effective relationships across our organisation, this could the opportunity for you.
The role
You will be providing professional advice and guidance to Service Areas on all aspects of ICT Service Delivery, ensuring effective communications and ensuring there is an IT Services presence on all Change Projects and Programmes.
You will identify opportunities to improve the way IT Services support the business, whether these be with improvements to technology or methodology. Conversely, you will work with the Council’s leadership to understand their strategy and needs and identify opportunities to use technology to improve service delivery and meet the Council’s aspirations.
In addition, you will act as an escalation point for any issues identified with the delivery of service-to-Service Areas and ensure that any improvements required by IT Services are identified and delivered in a timely manner.
You will support the Responsible Officers in the event of a Disaster Recovery or Major Incident situation and deputise for the Head Service Delivery & User Engagement, where necessary.
What we're looking for
You will need to have an understanding of all aspects of IT Service Delivery, as well as a detailed understanding of the services delivered across the wide range of Director Areas within the Council and of its working relationships with partner organisations.
You'll have experience of customer account management and negotiation, with demonstrable stakeholder management skills. We need someone who is an effective communicator, who can build relationships within Lincolnshire County Council and with Partners and Suppliers.
