Liverpool City Council is looking to recruit a Pest Control Officer. The successful candidate will assist with the Identification and treatment of pests in domestic and commercial premises. They will support and assist in pest control management of Alleyway Repair Programme. They will provide pest control support for the alleyway repair programme and also treatment of domestic and commercial premises.

The successful candidate will Identify infestation, assess extent of infestation and treat accordingly.  This will include the preparation and laying of pesticides on site i.e. baits, poisons, traps, ensure disposal of vermin and any follow-up treatment.

You will also undertake rodent control in the sewersand drainage system,  this will include routine baiting of drainage systems and rodenticide treatments on a regular basis and liaison  with other service areas as and when necessary.

The successful applicant should have a Royal Society of Health Certificate in Pest Control; or BPCA Diploma or NVQ or RSPH Level 2.
