Permanent contract

Salary £29,853 - £30,852 pro-rata

35 hours per week Monday - Friday (39 weeks per year)

8.15 am - 3.50 pm (with a 30 minute lunch break) + planning meetings and staff meetings as required

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable individual to join our Early Years Team.

The successful applicant will work as part of the Early Years Team, working under the leadership and supervision of the Early Years Leaders to provide young children with a safe, stimulating and caring environment.  You will prepare resources and the learning environment and will be involved in planning the curriculum and playing a full part in its delivery.

Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, relate well to children, be self-motivated and have a calm, professional manner.  Experience of paid work with pupils of relevant age is essential.

Childeric Primary School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  We are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  The successful candidate will be required to undertake a criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS); as well as reference checks.
