Newham is an ambitious borough committed to putting people at the heart of everything we do. Therefore, it is vital that we strengthen these services and make them as responsive to our residents’ needs as possible. The Senior Highways Engineer role is key to enabling us to achieve this goal, working in a team of professionals delivering major projects for the borough.
Some of the projects include Westfield Avenue Highways Improvements and East Village Connections. Highway improvements on Westfield Avenue and surrounding roads aiming to improve road layout within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which is multimillion pounds in value and Newham will be delivering these projects over the coming years.
The post-holder will need to support Senior Project Manager to help the delivery of the projects and managing a team of professionals.
