Senior Estates Surveyor

Why don’t you come and work for Knowsley Council and support Knowsley’s people and communities to thrive?   As part of your employment you will work a 36 hour week and receive the following benefits; access to the Local Government Pension Scheme which offers a valuable package of benefits for you and your dependants, a generous holiday entitlement of a minimum of 27 days each year (plus bank holidays), access to a flexi-time scheme, agile and modern working practices to enable you to achieve a successful work-life balance and discounts on the use of our leisure facilities.

The Assets Service is looking for a Senior Estates Surveyor who will assist in the management of the Council’s land and property.  The Council has a diverse property portfolio including land, offices and commercial properties and you would be responsible for carrying out day to day management including lease renewals, rent reviews, valuations and assisting with a wide range of property matters. The role requires a minimum of five years property experience but RICS Chartered Status is not essential as a comprehensive package of training and support is available to assist employees with their career development and progression.

At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working.  For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time.
