Trust Home School Support Team Leader

Start Date: April 2023 or ASAP

Hours: 36 Hours per week, 40 weeks per year

Salary: Scale SO1 Point 23-25. £29,678 - £30,559 Actual salary for above

 

The Home School Support Team Leader will line manage the Home School Support Workers across the Trust.  They will be the main point of contact and will be responsible for providing their team with guidance, training, coaching and feedback through regular one to one meetings and appraisals. Responsible for implementing the Home School Support Worker service to the new schools within the Trust, that meets the needs of the child and their families. They will be responsible for monitoring and managing the HSSW Team, setting targets and ensuring everyone is aligned and working collaboratively. They will be responsible for providing guidance and support to the members of the team to help them reach their full potential.

As part of this role they will spend 3 days working at a primary school and the other two days across the secondary schools.  All of our schools in the Trust are currently at an OFSTED grading of either ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ which means that we have incredibly high standards.
