 Are you a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced people manager who is looking for a change?

The Assembly Hall Theatre located at the heart of Tunbridge Wells, is an arts and cultural hub hosting a wide variety of shows from musical theatre to comedy performances all year round. With a varied range of events at the Theatre no two days are the same!

The role of House Manager affords the ideal candidate, the opportunity to further develop their people management skills and they will have the licence to utilise their vision and creativity to help shape the digital future of the Front of House operation. We are looking for someone who can ensure the smooth operation of the theatre, staff and training, whilst being commercially focused and seeking to develop the business.

You will be a manager of people with experience managing a hospitality business with exceptional customer service skills. You will have a healthy interest in technology and enjoy working in an environment which embraces innovation and creativity.

Hybrid working may be available at certain times.

Additional benefits for this post include 22 days annual leave (increasing to 27 days after 5 years continuous Local Government service), plus an additional day in December.  Membership of the Local Government (CARE – Career Average (Revalued Earnings) Pension Scheme, as well as invaluable training opportunities for continuing professional development.
