Digital Business Partner

About Us:

Reporting directly to the Head of IT & Digital Transformation, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining council wide portfolio related to the various digital activities and requirements.  You will lead the newly formed Digital Solutions team, and act as a first point of entry for colleagues in all matters related to digital needs, questions, or ideas.

You will work closely with Head of IT & Digital Transformation and Digital Analyst to promote and advocate our commitment and alignment with Local Digital Declaration and Government Technology Code of Practice ensuring that council maximises the support and funding opportunities available and understands the direction of travel for the wider public sector digital transformation.

Part of your role is to be independent advisor and trusted partner for business ensuring that council has effective and transparent way of dealing with digital development. This role will work closely with Corporate Programme Management Office (CPMO) following their framework supporting the delivery of digital projects and initiatives.

You may have earned your wings as a Business Analyst or even as a Project Manager but you may also be a IT professional who is looking for a new challenge outside of technical development and management domain – having organised and collaborative mindset combined with a passion for working with people is what makes you a winner on this role.

Please note that council has recently reviewed its Pay & Benefits, and the new proposed salary range for this role is £50,634 - £54,896 (subject to consultation). It is anticipated that this review should be concluded by August 2023.
