The starting salary for this role is £29,844 per annum, based on working 36-hours per week. This is a 12-month fixed term/secondment opportunity.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Access Management Team, within the Service Design & Improvement Team, as the Access Technician covering IT for Schools.
As the Access Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring colleagues have the right level of access to perform their job.
This will include creating, amending, and deleting accounts. This role will require you to manage the IT for Schools Access Management queue within our ticketing system, liaising with colleagues within the department and communicating with our customers.
We are expecting a peak of calls during the period of August, September and October, so additional support will be on hand.
You will also work closely with the Access Manager and will also be crossed trained across Brighton and East Sussex Access Management processes to provide additional cover during any busy periods.
To be considered for interview, you will have:
- A proactive 'can do attitude',
- Ability to prioritise and plan workload whilst resolving conflicting priorities,
- Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team,
- Good IT Skills, including MS Office and database management systems,
- Knowledge of relevant technical area (Azure AD, One Identity Manager, ARS (Active Roles) - on-site training will be provided.
This is a multi-site role, so travel around the Surrey Geography is a requirement with the occasional travel to the Orbis Geography (Brighton & Hove, and East Sussex).
