We are a one-form-entry, high-performing school in Sandhurst; we pride ourselves on helping every child achieve their full potential and develop into a well-rounded individual. At Uplands, everyone is considered a leader, and the successful applicant will enjoy subject leadership responsibilities as well the opportunity to create and implement whole-school improvement initiatives. The ability to work as part of a small team as well as independently is vital, as is a positive attitude and sense of humour.

This position would suit someone who is in the first few years of their career in education, with a passion for teaching and learning, and a desire to progress.

What you will gain from working at Uplands:

  • Team members who are passionate about education and who share a common goal and drive.
  • A school that is committed to staff wellbeing.
  • A family feel, where all staff and opinions are valued, and where there is a culture of mutual respect.
  • Training opportunities for professional development.

What we, as a school, expect from the successful applicant:

  • A passion for education and putting the children first.
  • Understanding of adaptive teaching and assessment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all stakeholders.
  • Understanding of, and commitment to, all school policies.
  • The desire to progress.

Closing date for applications is Monday 19 June 2023, 08:00.

Please call 01252 873069 or email if you require further information or would like to arrange a visit to the school.
