Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer - (Ref: FAW)
Salary: £10.43 per hour gym floor.
Personal training 50% commission per hour.
Two available positions: 15 paid hours per week or 24hrs per week gym floor.
Plus additional personal training and group exercise income opportunities.
No unpaid gym hours and no rental fees.

Do you have a passion for Health and Fitness? If you’re a qualified personal trainer we would like to hear from you as we have an opportunity to join our team working at The John Warner Sports Centre and The Laura Trott Leisure Centre.
In addition to paid gym hours, you will have the opportunity to build a personal training client base with additional earnings on a 50% commission scheme, and have a pathway to moving onto our licensed personal training scheme as your client base increases. We do not charge a rental if working on our commission scheme and we do not require the fitness team to perform any unpaid gym hours.
Main responsibilities include:
- Providing friendly and supportive supervision in the gym
- Selling and delivering Personal Training to members
- Providing customer inductions, reviews and fitness assessments
- Maintaining a clean and safe gym environment for users
- Daily, weekly and monthly gym and studio maintenance checks
- Advising on memberships and assisting the sales section
- Delivering small group circuit classes.
If you have a Personal Training Level 3 qualification and the ability to demonstrate excellent motivational and communication skills, then this role could be yours. Experience of carrying out inductions, fitness assessments, retention activities and personal training are essential as are Microsoft Office skills.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post. This role requires a disclosure and barring service check as it is working with children or vulnerable clients.
