Service Desk Technical Analyst

Role: Service Desk Analyst 

Team: Service Desk 

Job Family:  Providing CBG9 

Salary: £30,516 - £33,182 per annum pro rata 
Contract: Hybrid - Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week 

Location: Working from home and any CBC offices, including Priory House, Shefford. You will be expected to attend a CBC office location on a monthly basis, and as needed to carry out your role

Our IT team is recruiting a skilled Service Desk Analyst responsible for supporting office-based and hybrid customers and partners.  The successful candidate will ensure that service desk operations are efficient, and committed to providing excellent customer service.    

  

The required Experience: 

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent and hold ITIL Foundation level accreditation or relevant experience. 

  • Ability to demonstrate previous 1st and 2nd line analyst/technical experience preferably gained within a Local Authority or large organisation. 

  • Proficiency in System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), Group Policy, Active Directory and Microsoft Office up to 365 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and SharePoint would also be beneficial 

  

To succeed in the role, you must have: 

  • A history of exceeding targets and prioritising workload effectively  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication 

  • Great customer service 

  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of troubleshooting, logic and reasoning skills, be proactive, and be willing to share expertise and support colleagues.
