We're on the lookout for a talented and innovative individual to fill the key role of ERP Technical Architect within the ICF (Intelligent Client Function) team. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of transforming how we deliver services. The ERP Technical Architect will play a pivotal role in this journey, driving the strategic design, implementation, integration strategy, and optimisation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. It's a unique chance to take a key role in Surrey County Council's transformational journey.
The team
The ICF (Intelligent Client Function) is a new team established by the Council to drive meaningful transformation through optimising ERP system use, ensuring it becomes a powerful tool to drive efficiency and collaboration. The ERP Technical Architect will drive technology transformation across the Council. You will have significant exposure to wider teams within the business, working closely with business service teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the ERP architecture aligns seamlessly with our strategic goals, enhances our operational processes, and enables data integration across all departments.

Work location
The ERP Technical Architect position is a hybrid role, with a requirement to be on site at either Dakota, Weybridge and/or Reigate, Woodhatch Place as and when required.
About the role
Strategic guidance: Collaborate with team members within the Intelligent Client Function to develop long-term ERP strategies and implementation roadmaps to deliver optimisation, technical improvements and seamless integrations.
ERP architecture design: Design and blueprint a robust ERP architecture that meets operational requirements while ensuring scalability, quality of service, and efficient systems management
Requirement gathering: Work closely with departments to gather functional and technical ERP requirements, offering practical solutions and aligning teams with Council business objectives.
About you
As an ERP Technical Architect, you will possess an excellent understanding of complex systems and integration, providing a blueprint for success. The role requires innovation, analytical prowess, and strategic thinking. You will also have a keen understanding of the Council's policies, regulations, and strategic priorities to ensure our ERP solutions are efficient and agile.
