Surrey County Council has recently implemented Unit 4 as a modern, intuitive and flexible Software-as-a-Service Enterprise Resource Planning system. A significant programme of work has been completed to deliver the full implementation, including the configuration of the system, data migration and implementing required integrations with other Council systems.
Unit 4 is supported by our in-house IT and Digital team. The team operate ITIL v4 processes and are structured into:
- Service Delivery (service requests, incidents, problem management, SLA/KPI reporting and supplier relationship management)
- Service Improvement (change requests, release management and business relationship management)
We're now recruiting for a Support Agent on an 18-month fixed-term contract to join the Service Delivery team, although you may be required to flex between both teams according to customer demand. During the initial 12+ months of implementation, a higher volume of tickets are expected, and the team will also be building their competence in supporting a new system.
To support the team with additional capacity and to provide Unit 4 knowledge transfer, Surrey County Council welcome applications from people with:
- ITIL4 experience of Service Desk, Service Request Management, Incident Management and Problem Management.
- System admin experience of Unit4/Agresso and Proactis.
- Proficient knowledge and experience in one or many of the HR/Payroll/Finance/Procurement modules and processes.
- Evidenced experience in process and system improvements.
- Willing to provide Unit4 knowledge transfer to the in-house team.
- Unit 4 Security concepts/roles and authorisations.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Team Leader you will join the wider IT and Digital Service and work as part of a dynamic team with the autonomy to succeed in a lively, friendly environment.
