Driver Chargehand

Job introduction

We have a permanent Driver Chargehand position within Refuse and Recycling's vehicle collection in Brighton and Hove.

About the role

Drivers needed to drive Waste Collection vehicles for Brighton and Hove City Council. Applicant must have a clean drivers licence with a minimum of Category C on it. They must also hold a valid CPC card and preferably a Digital Tacho card. Knowledge of the Waste Industry would be helpful but not essential.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
