Hours: 20 hours per week (4.00pm – 8.00pm) x 52 weeks per year

Salary: Grade 3 points 5-9. Actual Salary of £11,995 to £12,882 p.a. (FTE £21,591 to £23,187 p.a.)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person with strong DIY skills who would like to provide a key role in maintaining our school site, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community. Previous experience of working in a school maintenance team is desirable. The successful applicant will also be expected to undertake lettings at the schools outside normal working hours.

This is an exciting chance to join our wonderful schools, working as part of a friendly and inspiring team and contributing to the whole school environment.

Duties will include:-

  • Locking and unlocking the school and carrying out security checks on the buildings
  • Carrying out and recording statutory checks and help maintain Health and Safety records.
  • Maintenance of the school property and grounds to a high standard (including liaising with contractors)
  • Cleaning - to ensure that the cleaning standards of the school are met
