About the Role
Here at Reigate & Banstead Borough Council we are looking for two Partnerships Officers to join our ambitious Community Partnerships Team. The team’s remit encompasses support for the voluntary sector, older people, health partnerships and community safety and focuses on projects which will improve the lives of our residents.

Your role within the team will be to develop and deliver on a range of initiatives, working with other Council teams and our external partners, to support our more vulnerable residents. For example, this might include coordinating and monitoring performance of our voluntary and community sector grants schemes, implementing the Council’s taxi voucher scheme, identifying and delivering other projects to reduce isolation and help older people stay independent, and raising awareness and signposting services available across a range of wellbeing topics.

About the Person
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• previous experience of partnership working across the public and voluntary sectors;
• the ability to develop and deliver projects and demonstrate their impact;
• strong negotiating and influencing skills;
• excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• experience of servicing and supporting partnership fora;
• experience of successfully applying for grant funding and/or managing contracts;
• the ability to analyse, interpret and present data; and,
• alignment with our organisational behaviours of being positive, supportive, flexible and innovative.
