Otterpool Park Project Coordinator

2 Year Fixed Term Contract with the possibility for a secondment or permanent contract to be considered.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of Otterpool Park, a new garden town in Folkestone & Hythe.

The ambitious plans for this new community forms a core part of the council’s strategy to meet housing needs in the district and deliver a variety of new facilities, employment space, public spaces and parks for all to enjoy.

The project coordinator will be working with the project manager and the Strategic Development team to ensure the smooth running of Otterpool Park and other projects within the team, they will have high level experience in administration and great organisational skills and will also be required to assist with project management functions such as managing payments and invoices, updating project plans and coordinating events, this post also involves providing administrative support for the team, including arranging and preparing for meetings.

The successful candidate will have the communication skills to liaise with a wide range of organisations and individuals involved in the project, including council officers and members; consultants; other public sector agencies and the public.

Although this is a full time post, reduced hours may be considered.
